Fix It Friday #64: First Entry

done in Yahoo photo editor

What a day!

I am having another bad hair day today... Why? Because of busyness I wasn't even get to do a little makeover of myself... I looked so stressed and ewww! I hate it! Good thing my two-sided mirror get broken a couple of weeks ago so I won't be reminded how horrible I look! I never thought that stress can add to my weight... I have read about that on Yahoo news... I wonder why I kept on gaining weight when I felt like I am too busy. Well, stress was trapped on my belly! my tummy! that I felt like I am getting bigger and bigger each day! Ouch... what a frustration huh?

Need to do something about this...

TT: The Beauty of Silence

Silence. It's deafening. It communicates. It gives a message. This Thankful Thursday, I am struck by the beauty of silence. Yes, it has a beauty that only  few were able to recognize.

This morning, I am too preoccupied of the things that needs to be done. I am so busy doing multifarious tasks. My mind keeps on working, extracting the right words to put on my paper. The clock runs so fast that I felt like I am always racing against time. Deadlines are imminent... Demands are too many. Schedules are too loaded. My mind wants to explode, to shout and to beg for air to breathe. Then I realized, I do not need to do that. I realized the value of SILENCE. Why should I worry much? why should I forced myself to finish the things that is beyond my grasps? Why do I work like there's no more tomorrow. It seems like God reminded me on His still small voice to remain calm and just be silent. I need time to listen to that voice... and the only way to hear that is to be silent. Yes, a moment of silence.

Thank you God for the reminders. :)

One Stop Online Marketing Needs

Recently, I talk about what to consider in web hosting plan. Well, I just hope that idea could really help especially for novice online businesses. Their are Internet Marketing Company whom we can rely on in finding the answer of our online marketing needs. They have all what we need from Search Engine Optimization or commonly referred to as SEO, and Link building as well. How are these two so important. In online businesses, we have to consider that the high competition is at stake. There are a lot of similar businesses proliferating on the web. Normally, when we research for something, the results that we found on the first page on the search engine are the one we usually look into. If the site is optimized, it is of great advantage. But of course, we should not solely depend on that. A wise businessman always put into consideration the return of his investment, well, everyone does. The bottom line is, you will get much in return from your investment. But of course, this process needs extra time and effort. Some might thought that this is quite a tedious job. Why worry when you can entrust it to the experts like Internet Marketing Company that offers almost anything in promoting your site and have it known in the world wide web.Let others know your existence without exerting much sweat and error. However, trust only  the expert.

What To Consider In Web Hosting

The world became smaller today with the aid of the internet. I cannot imagine way back 1990's when only the selected few has access to the not-so-fast internet world. Today, the development of online technology creates vast opportunity not only for social networking but for business leveraging as well. One of the most commonly adapted by businesses nowadays is building their own website. Through this opportunity, more customers were aware with their business without further advertising it manually. With just simple steps, the people can access to their business. However, this kind of method needs  dedicatedserverhosting. There are free web hosting offered by some online companies, however, opportunities are limited. Even for us bloggers, we need a dedicated server hosting that can ensure us of unlimited possibilities in the internet world.

Finding the right web host could be easy by browsing and surfing. Many websites now are offering web hosting with reasonable prices. There are actually a lot of options to choose from. We just have to be wise and of course, if our aim is to have a better business, we should not settle for less. Try to consider a cheap yet reliable Web Hosting Plan. It is readily available in the  net.

Julie Tearjerky No More

I seldom see this woman cry... Unless you will let her talk and pour out her emotions you can really see her tears rolling down her cheeks while speaking using English language (nosebleed po ako!)

Julie, July, Miming but most of the time I called her Langga, my endearment to dear people like her.Currently she's our President in an all-female organization in our church. Like our past president, she is so active. In every activity, she wants to get things done as early as possible so she made it a point to do hands-on on every task that needs to be done. That's Julie. Young as she is, she is matured enough to handle an organization where most of the members are either older or much younger than her, but she was able to manage it. One thing that I admired most about this woman was her dedication which I guess I do not have.

Need some help for any layout or design? Just call her and she's always willing to do it for you, that's one of her crafts, passions...

I am so blessed to have known this young, vibrant RN... Simple, beautiful, humble and simply amazing!

Love you girl! Here's the edited code for you so that it won't get error once clicked by our co-bloggers....My birthday gift! ^_^

The Account of A Desperate Woman...

Call me desperate... yes I admit, I am. I am desperate to lose weight... I am desperate to gain height, I am desperate to work abroad, I am desperate to find a really stable job. All this desperations cause me stress. Yes, by just merely thinking about it, it stress me a lot. While it's true that I should not worry about my tomorrow for it is already in God's hand but human as I am, I cannot help it but wonder and ask-how long should I wait for God to reveal His ultimate and perfect plan for me?

My thought really wonders specially now that I was stranded again by the heavy downpour, but yes that's how I felt right now...

Taking Responsibilities...

If you are task to man a certain group pf people, you need to take the responsibility. As for me, it is not easy to be in-charge. If you are in-charge on a certain thing, you must be willing to take the risk... and the external and internal pressures that comes from the lower and upper portion of your domain. You have a boss that you need to obey... you have people under you that you need to guide. Without cooperation from those under your command, you will really be stressed. Talking about stress, one must identify his/her stressors... In my case-
well... I just keep it to myself ^_^

MoreThanWords
More than words, but I've got something to say today....

I was having a hard and tiring day today. When I came to the office this morning, the floor was covered with mud and water flood. What I did was to go to my apartment and change my clothes and bring some for my colleagues...
This is not uncommon to us.. We are used to this.. Thank God all the files are safe (unlike last November).

Oops we're not done yet by the time I posted this.... ^_^ Time to clean up!

So funny because we still managed to pose before the camera... Fun fun fun....

For the Love of the Country...

I love World History subject. Back in my High School Days, I love it when our teacher unfolds before us the significant event that concerned the whole wide world. Specifically, I am very interested to listen about the World War stories. I heard a lot of them from my late grand father. He is a Veteran, the unsung hero during his time.

Looking back, every country has its line of defense that will safeguard the citizens against terrorism. I should have known that being a citizen from one of the feared regions of the Philippines. Once in a while if not oftentimes, I heard news about war and terrorism not only on my country but other countries as well. The front liners are our soldiers who are willing to die in the name of love and freedom to the country to which they belong. World Wars 1 and 2 that became highlight in World History subjects acknowledged the bravery of American soldiers who fought not only for their own country but for their allies as well. Who can forget the Vietnam War which cost thousands of lives both armed forces and ordinary citizens. But again that’s all written in the World History book.

And now, facing the present and anticipating the future, there are still a lot of stories to unfold which will be incorporated in the updated World History Book soon. Isn’t it more worth reading if what our grand children read on their history book are the generosity of every citizen who paid greater respect in honor of those who wage their lives for the country?- the Veterans.

Generosity in broader aspect means, giving what we have to those who needed it the most. One concrete example is car donation. Too extravagant to do, others might think, but upon knowing that through this way we can help the community and our country as a whole, then one wouldn’t have any second thought to do so. Why donate car to charity? Talking about war, I got this idea from the advocacy of the Vietnam Veterans of America initiated by the Illinois State Council. The idea they have implemented is simple, fast and secure through car donation charities. They initiated this to help in providing critical support services for their defenders.

What a great cause. Hopefully, our Armed Forces here in the Philippines would come up with similar brilliant ideas.

WFW: Acts 1:8

Expanding our territory... spreading the Gospel... Making Christ known...

What's so difficult with this that it seems like only a few made this as a commitment and part of their daily journey?

What happened to us that we cannot do such simple thing?

What happened to those who have done it yet out of obligation and not of passion?

What happened to me that I easily get discouraged when every time I will do it, I am rejected?

Think think think... What happened to our first love?

Have we forgotten it?

Have we lost that compassion for those who are lost not only within our territory but beyond?

I plead guilty to all of these...

Think think think...

Wanna have Lady Gaga's look?

An Ophthalmologist from Stahl Eye Center New York warned the teens who tried to imitate Lady Gaga's look on his Bad Romance music video. The kind of  online contact lenses that she used may cause permanent loss of vision if not fitted properly as this may cause eye infection. All Lady Gaga's fan should heed this warning if they want to see their future brighter and clearer.
