I used to draft before my long list of New Year's Resolution but wasn't able to make it through the end...

But now, I stop it considering that I lack the willpower to follow it all...

Before, first on my list was to lose weight however, I gained more for the past one year... 

Actually there's a lot of things that I wrote but only few were being fulfilled.

What I did for this year was to stop making  promises for myself, instead, I just have to be aware of my surroundings, I just have to keep my relationship with my love ones to be intact and most of all, continue the faith and trust I have for God.

After all, many are the plans in the man's heart but it is God's plan that shall prevail.

So how about you? How serious are you in fulfilling your New Year's Resolutions, if any?

I slept late last night because I was hooked in playing Burger Machine. It was almost 12 midnight when I retired to my bed. Then past 2AM my Mom woke me up. She felt bad again and she's complaining about dizziness. She has history in high blood pressure. I was left with no choice than to drag myself up and have some quick fix of myself. I called up the guard house hoping to get a taxi for city bound. Unfortunately, there was no available taxi so we need to walk for almost half kilometer to reach the guard house. Our home was located at one of the subdivisions in Iponan, CDO quite far away from the high way. It was almost 4AM when we finally got a taxi. We went first to the pharmacy then to the Polymedic Hospital for BP. The nurses monitored a normal blood pressure of Mom. Maybe because before we went to the hospital she already took some medicine. 

A realization came upon us. For emergency cases, it is really difficult for us who are living in the outskirt of the city where vehicles are not really that accessible. I am hoping and praying that we could acquire one soon. This was not the first time that it happened to my Mom. I am still thankful to God that He guided us all the way.

These are  my lovely nieces. I really do love them both. They are the daughters of my eldest brother. I thank God for giving us such a lovely kids who are so sweet and talented. If you'll get to know them you will easily love them both. 

Last year was full of promises...

I supposed this year will be the year of fulfillment.

God promises as for a better future and I do trust and keep my faith on His words.

I've already said before that I went through a lot last year. I have endured all those mixed emotions...

I thanked for having a blog because this was my outlet for every suppressed emotion... I have posted all my frustrations here and even all my successes. 

I know how faithful God is in my life despite the fact that I have been unfaithful to Him.

He promoted me, he answered one of my long time my prayers.

I can feel how he ordered my steps. I can be likened to the lost sheep and yet He keeps on finding me, taming me and accepting me over and over again.

I was so blessed with the message yesterday given by our Pastor- the generational blessings of God to Abraham. God clearly illustrated on His Words how he always kept His promises in spite of the disadvantageous economic situation or societal condition. Indeed, our God is an awesome God. He is always in control... in total control.

I lift up to Him my year 2011! To God be the glory!

Each one of us went through a lot for this year 2010... Looking back, we were able to conquer most if not all of the challenges we encountered by the grace of God... The challenge may not have yet ended but still we remain hopeful that someday everything will fall on its right places. We did not stop believing that God brought us into a situation for a significant reason. Next year will mark another chapter of our lives. For all those things that we've been through, the fight continues. We survived because we never cease in believing God's faithfulness in our lives. We may have failed so many times but His love remains in us forever. His tender mercy overflows and His love never ceases. Whether we realized all our goals for this year or not, one thing is for sure- GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Let us glorify God forever and ever. Amen

For this Mellow Yellow Monday, allow me to feature two of the amazing kids of our Lighthouse Iponan, Kiezha and Moirah. These two cute little girls won from their series of school events. Indeed both of them are young achievers. They are both consistent honor students and they are very talented too. Moirah is inclined to music. She can play violin. Their parents must really be proud of them. They are cousins by the way :)

For this week's Shoot Me, I won't be featuring my very own picture. Instead, I'll be posting here the picture of one of the cool couples in our school, Mr. and Mrs. Namoco. Dean Concon playfully wear a curly wig last Annual Fellowship and was fully supported by his ever supportive wife, Ma'am Rhoda. They were both successful in their professional career and of course, with their relationship as well. I personally took this picture for them. I do not know how will he reacted If he learned that I posted it here on my blog. Shh...  ;)

I long to be in some places someday and meet the significant people who made it to the World History. I wanted to travel around the world and see wonders of wonders. I want to see before my eyes how the Leaning Tower of  Pisa steadily stand the test of time. I wanted to see how actually big is the Elephant in Thailand. I wanted to know how beautiful is the Taj Mahal in India. I want to climb Mount Everest. I want to soak myself in the Nile River to know if the river is warm or cold. I want to experience how it feels to be with the people in Bangladesh. I want to meet the descendants of Confucius in China. And when I get tired of travelling around the world, I want to stay at the  villas in turkey.

Well, If I could only have what I want...

During the Christmas Party that we organized for the support staff of the school last December 17, 2010, there was a repeat performance of the dance we choreographed during the Annual Fellowship on December 15. Due to the limited space in our office, they were asked to perform by group. However, we were not spared with the dance number and we have no other choice but to dance. ;) 

We should be thankful of the day that Jesus was born in order for us all to have the free gift of salvation...

No matter how we feel about ourselves, we should instill into our mind that  WE are FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made by God! We have no reason to feel bad with how we look or how other people will look into us... We have no reason to feel insecure, we have no reason to feel being the least...

We should be proud of ourselves!

Just this morning, as I took my breakfast together with my house mates, the news of the Vizconde Case ruling was on the headline. It was about to be announced...

The result caused multitude to react, some were glad but I am pretty sure, most were disappointed. 

For 19 years, Mr. Lauro Vizconde was craving for justice. I do not have any idea as to how the proceedings on the court was being handled. Maybe, a friend of mine was right when he was asked for his comment regarding the case, if Hubert and his company really did it but was acquitted, there is still another judgment that they have to face, it's the judgment that all of us will face after death.
