I admit I love to write but sometimes I am too busy that I cannot do it anymore. I am aiming to complete a minimum of 25 blogs per month but considering my work I doubt it if I can really make it. The performance of my PC at home is not as fast (in fact, it's too far behind!) as Charter's Ultra60mbps Internet Speed that it cannot cope up the necessary speed that I need to complete my tasks.
However, I would like thank to Ate Grace who is always there to share her knowledge in blogging and gave me some tips. Because of her, I already have my EON card from Union Bank. Though I still need some tutorial about so many things I know that many fellow bloggers out there are very much willing to extend their help (thank you in advance). These are my goals for the first quarter:
1. more opps (through out the year! please give me some tips)
2. more post (geeee.. wish I have more time to do this)
3. own domain name (need to save more dollars for this)
4. more followers (count yourself please)
5. And..... OWN LAPTOP! (HP Brand or COMPAQ Presario Brand) so that I can extend my blogging beyond office hours!

Looks like too unrealistic? Aside from the fact that it's not wrong to set our goals, God knows my desire and my motivation.... With HIM nothing is impossible! (Calling all advertisers, God is calling you!)

I've been following Denise' blog lately and I learned that his husband went through some great challenges, a sort of a barometer of their  faith...When most of us were so overjoyed celebrating Christmas and New Year, these couple shared a different story. But that was more or less three weeks ago. God never leave them. Her lovebug is under therapy right now and I am asking you to please include them in your prayers.

In moment like this, it feels good to know that God lead us to the kind of people who are willing to walk an extra mile just to be with us in our adversities. This is one thing that we should be thankful for...

The Bible emphasizes the beauty of friendship.... In Proverbs 18:24 it says,

 ²⁴ A man of many companions may come to ruin,
       but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Perfect!

How about you, have you found the real people in your life?

I truly admire the kind of faith that these couple have... Please continue to pray for complete healing.

Each one of us has our desires in many form. Some of us might have a 5-year plan which is in preparation for their long-term goal, others might have just keep it short and of limited time. Whatever it is, the thing is that, it was impressed in your heart and it became your desire. Others might have the desire of earning more that's why they are working too hard for their promotions. For a student, his desire might be to pass the course with a flying colors! For parents, their desire is for the betterment of the whole family. There are so many other things that every individual has been keeping in their hearts.

The question now is that, whom do you consulted for the fulfillment of that desire? Your boss? your teacher? Elder? The Bible is very clear in targeting our desire... Before anything else, let us FIRST delight in God. How? By doing the things that He first impressed in our hearts when we first acknowledge Him and surrender our life back to Him. Share His Love.

God impressed something in my heart lately that I need to get His work done or get started? My apprehensions before were all gone. He gave me strength and confidence to reveal His kingdom among my colleagues and I am very thankful that we're able to successfully started the Core Values Formation Program last Tuesday and today with Ptr. John (thank you so much Pas) It is my prayer that the seeds that has been sown by Papas on their hearts will grow into what God desired it to be...

I've got so many things to thank God for...I wanted to make up with those times I wasted in the past year...So I made it a point to start doing the things that I ought to do... He gave me this kind of burden that I do not want to diminish, the burden of sharing His goodness and unfailing love...
To name a few for this week alone:
1. Monday- Prayer accountability at work... it felt so good knowing that somebody has been praying for you
2. Tuesday- Our core group at the office finally started (this will be done regularly)
3.Wednesday- Good news: A Great Favor from God (an answered prayer)
4. Thursday-  I started my class for this year sharing beautiful insights about life and the immeasurable love of God

These are just among the things that I am really grateful. God empowered me and I know He will continue to do so! To God be the glory!

TRUE CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: HOPE ON THE FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE

Hristmas is a special time. It is a family celebration. It is glorified in the home because it is the celebration of a birthday.

            Christmas means different things to different people. Many are more concerned to hear about their PROFIT from Christmas than to hear about the PROPHET from Bethlehem.

            Those who celebrate without CHRIST in their lives write “Merry X-mas”- signifying an unknown God.

            Instead of imbibing (absorb into mind) the spirit of Christmas, they chose to imbibe (drink) spirits of Christmas.

            We can’t  have a Merry Christmas or a happy new year when we have become slaves to the passions and vices that hound us-materialism, money, and artificial pleasure. They are crowding CHRIST out of Christmas.

            Three Phenomena the world experienced more than 2000 years ago:

First: The Star- the light that points us to the real Light but sad to say that we focused our eyes o the stars and not on the True Light born in Bethlehem (Matthew 2:2)

Second:  The New Song- The whole world took up a new refrain “Glory to God in the Highest and on Earth peace, goodwill toward men.” (Luke 2: 13-14). But people prefer to hear other songs, sad songs, cynical songs, angry songs, songs worshipping Satan and other things.

Third:  The Good News- The Savior has come “He shall be called Jesus for He shall save His people from sins (Matthew 1:21)

          Jesus was the central theme of that first Christmas. The star, the song, the gifts, the joy, the hope and the excitement- all were because of Him.

            Do you know who put the first Christmas tree? God did it on Calvary. On this tree hung the world’s greatest love gift- His Son.

            He chose to hang His greatest love gift on a tree because Satan using a tree deceived our first parents. He restores men with a tree (cross)

            There were no pretty lights on that  tree- but light was there- because the source of light hung on that tree (John 1: 4,9/ 8:12), (Luke 23:44-45)

          Wrapping on this wonderful gift was His own precious blood.

            We had a spiritual disease, which is called sin. JESUS CHRIST had a great deal to say about sin. He came on that first Christmas night to save His people from their sins. Only Jesus can heal the disease of sin.

            Christmas is not a Christmas without a message on the death and resurrection of CHRIST. This is why He was born.

            Christmas still reminds us that God is with us.

            So when you look at the Christmas tree think of the first Christmas tree.

Color red stands for His precious blood He shed for you

Color crystal for the precious water of life

Color silver and gold reminds you that we were not redeemed with corruptible things, but His precious blood. Remember Jesus was sold for 30 pieces of silver, just for His redeemed ones (us) to walk on streets of pure gold (heaven).

Color green points us to the tree of life where our names are written.

            The Christmas message has not changed after 2000 years.

            God revealed in that life, death and resurrection of Jesus a reconciling love which rescues us from separation and loneliness. Christ is here to give us hope, to forgive sins, and to give us a new song, to impart faith and to heal our spiritual wounds if only we will let Him. Give Him the gift that HE wants- your heart, your soul and your life.

Light came, with one faint star

To show the way;

With one small cry, the Word

Lay speechless in the hay;

Love came and was rejected

At the inn;

Purity was born into the world of sin;

Song woke to the barnyard cluck

And bray and bleat;

And common shepherd knelt

At Sovereignty’s feet.

If you have nothing to give this Christmas, worry not because Christmas is not about gifts.... It's about having the right attitude of understanding the significance of the season...

God's love for us is beyond compare! It is unfathomable, immeasurable and never ceases! Life without Him is senseless... Knowing Him is NEVER enough... We need to ACKNOWLEDGE Him into our lives and allow Him to have a total control of it! God's love endures forever that we couldn't ask for more! His undying love is clearly written on the Holy Book- the BIBLE, our Life's ultimate manual... The question now is that- Are We Willing To Love Him Back?

It's Monday and the atmosphere here at school is really at peace.... (it's Holiday break by the way).. Unlike the other year, I need to report for work until the 23rd and resume at the 26th to 29th.... Christmas is indeed few days away! I never bothered myself to buy a gifts (unlike again last year) I just want to feel the real meaning of Christmas... it's not about the gifts we give and receive, nor parties... I need to remind myself (as well as those who were expecting) that Christmas is all about giving thanks and adoration to the One whom God has sent to us more than 2,000 years ago... It's about Jesus Christ.. and we are all the reason why He came and gave His life to us... It all started in Bethlehem long long time ago when a Child was born in the manger... A very humble scene and event yet the most significant of all!

Love moves in a very mysterious ways... Who would have thought that my dear Manang Maris would settle down this fast? lol! I would like to give a toast for Manong Jim who was able to conquer Manang's (wooden?) heart! :) God knows, its the right time for them to really settle down and indeed they're perfect match. I know for sure that Manong will love Manang soooooooooo much and same thing with my quite unpredictable but loving Manang. I'm so glad and honored to become a part of the most memorable moments of their lives being united as one... To those whom God has bind together, let NO man separate! A toast for the newly wed couple!

Human as we are we're vulnerable to the trials and temptations offered by the world... Let's take a foothold in the words of God that we might not sin against Him... Let Him be our refuge and our shield.

I love to paint using assorted media.. This time I use Fabric paint to create this on my red shirt... There are many variants of fabric paint: it has sparkler, neon and pearl.. I chose Pearl because the effect is good to look at.. ;)

Yes indeed! It's not enough to feel it, we must do something to justify that compassion we have for OTHERS... I was really very thankful of the message God brought to us through our Elder on our church last night during our mid-week fellowship. The given account on the bible was about the Good Samaritan. It's another reminder for us that sometimes in our lives we could be like the man lying helplessly on the streets being robbed, wounded and almost dying. We might have  experienced the lowliest moment in our lives where nobody else seems to care about us. Unexpectedly, God uses people whom we least expected. Just like the Good Samaritan who shows real compassion to his "enemy" (being a non-Jewish). Real friends can only be known in time of adversities in our lives. People whom we expect to uplift us  might be the same people who will abandon us when we need them the most (just like the priest and Levites on the parable). Let's stop living in hypocrisy... Compassion... it's not just a mere feelings... It's something that needs to be act upon.

Music has already been a part of me since my younger years. I may not have my own album but I have my own composition! In fact I love to write a song, that’s one of my passions aside from art. I love that soulful type of music. If I’ll be given an option on what to bring if I’ll be deserted in an island, definitely it would be my mp3 player loaded with my favorite songs. Wow, undeniably I can live alone with music. I am not into rap or noisy type of music, they are just a plain sound for me, and apparently I don’t consider it as music at all. Number one on my play lists are those songs that somehow can inspire me to go on with my life no matter what. I love gospel songs or those that are inspirational. I love my collections from Hillsongs Australia, they are not only uplifting but soul soothing as well. Whenever I hear any of their songs, I am always reminded of how faithful and loving our God is to us despite all our shortcomings. I always see to it that I have a copy of the lyrics of their songs. Of course, I’m not bothered because the internet is always of help to me on my research. It’s not difficult to find a particular song or a lyric with the help of so many search engines and one of this is the Queen Torrent search engine. Like any other search engines, we’ll just simply type the keywords such as music torrents and there you go with the results. Or if you want it to be more specific you may type Hillsong Austrailia and you will be prompted with so many downloadable options that you can choose.

 I am not updated to the latest track because most of them don’t make sense at all. I just don’t know what comes onto their mind why they opt to produce songs that has no meaning and will not create even just a little impact to the society; well that’s their freedom of expression. As for me, music will continue to inspire me as long as I live.
