Where In The World Are You Wednesday: A Global Blog Hop

Just Married with Coupons
Since last week, I enjoyed joining blog hop. I cannot remember anymore as to how many blog hops I have joined with...

This Wednesday, Simply Stacie hosted Where In The World Are You Wednesday. This week's theme is Romantic Places for Valentine's Day Where You Live.
I live in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. For this coming Valentine, one of the places here where I considered so romantic is the place where me and my huggybear (my significant other) considered as our rendezvous. It is an overlooking place. This is where he took me on our first date together. I am a certified Nature lover, that is why I enjoyed every moment of it...

So how to join?

The mechanics are simple:

-Leave them a comment to let them know so they can follow you back & Tell Them Where in the World you are?
-Follow as many people as you like & Let them know Where in the World you are?
-If someone follows you, make sure to follow them back!
-Feel free to grab the button and post on your blog and help spread the word.
-Have fun meeting new people from all over the world!

Treasure Your Captured Moments

The best thing that we can do to keep our memories alive for a certain event is by treasuring those captured moments that we have through pictures. Therefore, it is just right to keep our pictures safe and secured. We should keep it really organized according to the series of events with proper labels or captions as much as possible. The most common way of organizing this pics is by using albums. It is much better as well if you print it in photobooks sizes wherein those captured moments were really emphasized.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your camera, take some pictures of yourself and cherish the moment of doing so then create your own photobooks

WFW: Leviticus 19:31

I used to believe in the power of astrology and the astrologer. Their wisdom is somehow amazing. They are able to predict the future. As if they are in control. I was born under the sign of VIRGIN! As Virgo, it says that I am modest (yes), shy (not at all times!), meticulous (in few things) and intelligent (ows?). It also says that I am good in hiding emotions (yes, I am!), with sense of humor (depends upon the mood and atmosphere), and so many more. If we focus on the positive aspects of the sign, it has the tendency to inspire us. However, the daily horoscope it brings will really affects our daily living. Why? Obviously because, we get the tendency as well to believe everything that it says. it is okay if our horoscope is in favor of us. But how about if it is against us? So much more that it could really affects us. Next thing to happen is that we became anxious, afraid, and overwhelmed with what it says about us for the day.

Our future cannot be determined by us nor by others. We can only do something to shape it. But if we are trying to predict exactly what will gonna happen to us tomorrow, or the next days or next months- it is absolutely beyond our control. Some of their predictions may coincide in one way or another but we should not rely on them.

We should not forget that

God is in total control. Amen

Day by Day Grace

Reflecting on Grace: Humility and Faith

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich . . . Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God
(2 Corinthians 8:9)

Yes indeed, we have nothing to boast about. Though we may be in abundance of almost everything BUT it is God who provides our NEEDS. It is not from ourselves. The wisdom, strength and resources that we use in acquiring all the good things in life that we have right now comes from God alone. Therefore, it is God alone who deserves our honor and praise!

Happy grace-filled Wednesday everyone!

Just Wondering...

What if all of us are professionals? All of us earned a degree to brag about?
What if all of us are rich and maintain a high paying jobs? or control our own company?

Who else gonna build our houses? Who else gonna supply our food? Who will do the manual labor? Who will supply us with fish and vegetables? Who will tend the farm? Who will clean all our mess? Who will do the laundry?

We always complain of poor economy, underemployment, more drop-outs students...

We complain of so many things!

But try to consider all those things I have aforementioned?
What if all of us are given equal opportunity? Who will take the humility to serve one another? Who will initiate to do the manual task? the tedious labor?

Just wondering.

Suicidal Conviction?

Catch the news here
As I opened my yahoo mail this afternoon, what caught my attention was the  headline news about one of the prominent Filipino citizen.

The case has yet to be resolved but yet, late Former Defense Secretary Angelo Reyes convicted himself by taking suicide (as presumed) earlier today.

I heard about the  recent military scandal that he was allegedly involved with. The Higher Court has to deal with it yet but he finished it too soon by killing himself with a gun shot on his chest.

Whatever you may call it, the fact that he put justice on his own hands with his life at stake, I cannot find logical reasons of doing so. But what else can we do? He could not be interrogated anymore, he finally close his heart, mind and soul from the case.

Whether guilty of the crime or not, suicide is neither the end nor the means of dealing with the issue. It does not justify.

Now, can I call it SUICIDAL CONVICTION?

Spice up Your Dish With Tabasco Original Red

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

Morning breakfast menu are sometimes meant to be prepared quickly considering that almost everyone, if not everybody, is hurrying to catch up for work or school. Egg is the easiest menu to prepare. Most of the time we are settled with fried eggs, omelet, or boiled egg to the least. Simple as it is, morning breakfast with eggs can be exciting if we add some flavor to it. If you want to really spice up your morning diet, add TABASCO® Original Red to your simple egg menu and I bet you will be craving eggs for more. There's no doubt about it because TABASCO® Original Red was introduced by the famous Mcllhenny family back in 1868 and their legacy continues up to the present time. Their trade secret was indeed revealed. The unique taste of Original Red do not change the flavor of your favorite menu, rather, it enhances the flavor of it. And why not?  the said sauce with its simple combination of salt, red pepper and vinegar are perfected in a 3-year aging process which bring the most out of your food.

Don't get me wrong that TABASCO® Original Red is only ideal for eggs. This is also a perfect sauce for the  toppings of your favorite pizza. And speaking of pizza, this is an ideal treat while watching your favorite football game on the big tube. Super Bowl can be more exciting if the whole family will get the chance to watch it. Of course, serve them only the best food by seeking some guides from the  Game-Day Party Menu.  You will learn some quick but mouth-watering treats for the whole family. But if all they want is just pizza for the entire duration of the game, then spice it up by getting perfect ideas from Pizza Perfected. So, enjoy that "So Much More Than Hot" experience with any menu you could think of that would perfectly blend with TABASCO® Original Red

GT: Stupid L♥ve?

If I will be asked what is the most stupid things I've done in the name of l♥ve, well, can I just keep it to myself? Instead, allow me to share with you the story of a friend of mine who can truly relate of the thing they called as "Stupid Love".

Let's call her Nicole (not her real name to protect her privacy). She's pretty, slim but somehow she's so vulnerable. She easily falls for whoever shows interest on her. She often falls for the guy who is already into a relationship. I knew it all because she never hesitated to share everything to me. There was this guy who lets her fall for him even if he was already engaged. Call it stupid love, my friend gave in in spite of my opposition. Yes, she allows herself to be just the other girlfriend of this guy. I knew the guy because we were friend (were?). Their relationship were already known among her circle of friends (including me, of course) until such news reached to the real girlfriend. Without hesitation, the real girlfriend confronted her telling her to avoid her boyfriend because they are about to get married. Helpless as she was, she considered it as the most painful experience of her life. Why? because she was so in love with the guy. She tried to forget the guy by entertaining suitors and more suitors until she falls again for  another guy. Unluckily, this guy was more than naughty that he impregnated her and left her. She gave birth out of wedlock. I don't really call it stupidity. She was just became a victim of false promises... She admitted she was too stupid to believe the guy. Good thing now that she finally found somebody who is more than willing to love her and accept her regardless of what she went through from the past.

WFW:John 15:10

"Obedience is better than sacrifice". This is a very popular quote next to "easier said than done".

His Words is so powerful that if we failed to obey it,  we will be missing a lot in  this journey of life. We may take into consideration (which was often abused) the reality that we are all vulnerable to sin but we must not forget as well that God gave us that wisdom and discernment to think and differentiate the right from wrong. Obedience became a great struggle for every man. Why? Because in obedience, there is a great sacrifice that we need to hurdle. The sacrifice of being selfless and logical to the things that is right.

Think about this:

IF you obey my commands, YOU will remain in my love... The word "IF" here connotes a condition that everyone of us must follow. Simple logic: IF we will not obey His commands, we will not remain in His love...

For the second thought, I firmly believe that God's love never fails but let us  NOT make it a reason to fail Him again and again...

We must learn how to obey God and His commands.
