Real Blessings

Photo: kuya @red hood

It’s nice to note that finally I have a pair of angels to embrace and cuddle with. My one year old and a half little boy, Jeush Gregory, though unable to speak clearly yet gave me that kind of joy that most mothers felt for their son. My baby Jerusha Gabrielle on the other hand is so irresistible that this week old baby never fails to give a smile on my face. They are real blessings to me. What adds to my joy was the enthusiasm that their father has shown lately. He does the laundry every day; prepared my son’s milk and a whole lot more. I am so happy that this big man in the house did all those task willingly LOL! Indeed I thank God for the lives of my children. Now I understand that feeling of parent who’s willing to do anything and everything for their children because that is exactly what I want to do. I want the best for them. We want nothing but the best for them. I am optimistic that we could give them the kind of life that they both deserve. Right now, I am still on medication for pain and hoping to be back soon to work. I have classes to attend to. I need to catch up a lot of things from my almost one month of absence. I know it’s going to be tough ahead but I am confident that God will equip me with the wisdom and strength that I need to carry on.

Aja!

Need Help for Domain? Read This!

Finding the right domain can be tricky enough. Once you find a good business name, you have to check that your domain is available for .COM. If not, you may want to change your business name or opt for the other top level domain extensions like .NET and .ORG. In addition, there are some registrars that have some dangerous fine print. These are just a few of the things that you should look out for when making your own domain. Domain registration services sometimes like to hide enormous transfer out fees. You can feel safe with the domain name registration service at Register.com, however. They charge low domain registration fees and follow ICANN policy on all domain transfers. In addition, you should beware of other things in the fine print, such as hidden fees and even one case where a domain registration service tried to enact "power-of-attorney" over those who registered. You should also beware of any domain registration service that has a "pay-as-you-go" plan where you pay all of the cost upfront for five years, but you are then charged fees every year. If you pay for a domain for multi-year, make sure that you read what you're paying for so you don't end up paying more than you already have. If you find a great domain registration service, you'll likely get an amazing rate, privacy service and maybe even some free benefits like an extension on your domain name registration. It all comes down to reading the fine print.

BPC: My Little Girl Jerusha Gabrielle

Photo: Photo0030.jpg

The long wait is over, she's finally here. I can now feel her. Fragile as she might be I so love the feeling every time I carried her in my arms. My little Jerusha completes my family. Now there are four of us which I believe will complete my world...

To our little Jerusha, welcome to my world, our world. It is my prayer that yo and your Kuya Jeush Gregory will grow up in accordance to God's will.

I love you both...

Favorite Pasttime

One thing that I love about staying home while recovering from CS after effect (postpartum) is that I could spend personal time with my babies and when they were sleeping, I got all the time reading the Reader's Digest Select Editions which contains four stories per book. I finished just one out of more than ten RD collections. My RD Collections was a Christmas present to me by a friend who is now based in New Zealand. Reading is one of my favorite past time way back in High School. I used to go to our Library just to read books/novels like Nancy Drew's Sleuthing Adventure and even Hardy Boys. I also love collecting Reader's Digest. I used to have an "Ate" before who was a subscriber and I always borrowed her RD to my great delight. There are lot of things that I learned from merely reading. It helps me improve my vocabulary and grammar skills. This is one thing also that I always inject to the mind of my students especially those who took up Education courses. As a teacher, it is really very important to improve our grammatical and vocabulary skills. This is one area, as far as my assessment is concern, that most of my students in the past were having difficulty with. Reading somehow helps. I am not an English major and I cannot really vouch that my grammars are 100% correct but at least my choice of words and sentence constructions are at least understandable. Learning is on-going though or shall I say it's a lifelong pursuit. As long as we live, we need to continue to learn and learn and learn! and one way of doing so is by making Reading as a habit.

Need Cash Advance? Check This Out!

Times are tough financially, and many people are finding that they just aren’t making enough to stretch their funds from one payday to the next. Here are a few steps you can take at home to start reducing your expenses, along with things you can do when you discover that you just aren’t going to have enough to cover the rent. Start by calling the phone, cable and internet companies to see if they can help you save money on services. You may be able to bundle services, or they might have some special discounts you didn’t know about. It may only save a small amount every month, but remember that those savings add up. Avoid paying late fees and other heavy fines whenever possible. If you get a speeding ticket and won’t have the money to pay the fine in time, then consider taking out a California pay day advance to avoid the extra legal fees. Payday loans can also help you save money if you are going to be late paying the rent or other bills. Sell what you don’t need, want or love. If you look around your home closely, you may find all manner of items that you simply don’t want anymore. Put them up for sale and pocket the extra cash. Tuck it in a jar for a rainy day. Finally, take stock of your regular habits. You have a gym membership, but how often do you use it? Are you eating out all the time because you never have food in the house? It costs far less to make a healthy meal at home than it does to eat out. With some smart changes, you can essentially give yourself a raise by reducing your regular expenses.

Anticipating for My Little Angel...

I thought I will be seeing my baby girl last Wednesday but when the Doctor checked my lab results I was informed that I will be rescheduled this coming Sunday. I was excited then. She also advised me to prepare two bags of Type A+ blood. Good thing that when I rallied about it on Facebook, many responded and very much willing to share their blood.

My dear Baby Jerusha... see you soon dear!
