Farewell, Steve Jobs

Death is inevitable. We will all pass through this stage though at different time. It is an appointment with God...for us to face judgment. There are death that is mourned by the whole world while others just simply passed away silently...
For celebrities and other  famous individuals, they usually get the publicity that they weren't able to witness anymore-simply because they're dead.

As for the former Apple chief executive Steve Jobs, he passed away yesterday after his 56 years of existence. This made me realize that wealth cannot stop the unstoppable... Steve's death is a great loss for the techie world of Apple. his ingenuity will surely be missed. But life's like that- death is beyond anyone's control... Steve is survived by his wife, Laurene with whom he had three children. he also had  a daughter with another woman prior to his marriage. No words can totally comfort the bereaved family of Steve. But his legacy will remain forever, specially for his Apple Family whom he was the co-founder.

Farewell, Sir Steve Jobs!

WFW: Thoughts To Ponder

31 Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
When was the last time that you extended your arms for our less-fortunate brothers? Or how do you reacted when a street child approaches you begging for alms? I do not know your answer to these questions but one thing is for sure. God sees everything that we do to our unfortunate brethren. We cannot deny the fact that in some point of our lives, in a given situation, we tend to discriminate the people that we met everyday. We either look down or look up to the person. Sad, but it's true. Even myself sometimes, I simply ignore those street kids who tries to beg for food. Sometimes also I gave but most of the time I refuses. I rationalize the situation thinking that if I kept on giving them, they will become too dependent and will no longer find ways to earn a living... But how can people like them be get employed nowadays? That's one thing that I failed to consider. We cannot just simply blame them for being so dependent with other people because they are left with no choice.
Next time you meet beggars on the street consider this: Do not count what you have given, but rather, think of the countless blessings that you have received and be happy to share them with those incapable of having such.

B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was the name O!

Are you familiar with that nursery rhyme about a dog named Bingo?

There's another Bingo that is equally popular with the song only that this is a game. One of the things that would really caught my attention every time I have my grocery done at two of the big department stores here in our locality is the sound of the Bingo announcer who would shout from the top of his voice every time there is already a Bingo winner. I wonder if how a winner could be determine easily on games done at the bingo sites. Does it has an announcer too? Well, I doubt it. I haven't tried playing Bingo and I do not know how is it done. Better not to learn anything about it otherwise, I might get hooked to it.

I'd rather sing B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was the name o! Lol!

Gym Renovation

The gym in our school is due for renovation. In fact, the opening of bids is by next week already. We are quite busy for that day to come considering that the contractors who joined are coming from various places. Indeed, it is really a competitive one. I really miss the gym. It is one of my favorite standby area back in my college days. I specifically love to watch basketball here and I miss the sound of the touch of the ball on its hardwood flooring. It is my prayer that this bidding would be a successful one!

¿Qué es SEO?

I've been writing an articles with SEO content and I tell you it is not that difficult as long as you know your topic very well. However, there are some key words that I have encountered that would really give me a headache because I knew nothing about it. Recently, I encountered about Posicionamiento SEO. For cases like this,I always ask Mr. Google for his assistance. However, when I found the site, I cannot understand the language (Spanish). All i knew is that they are also specializing in Search Engine Optimization. Anyway, I should not dwell on such kinds of key words so as not to get stressed lol!

Missing my Pencils...

I used to sketch a lot before. I even tried charcoal rendering also and I really enjoyed it as well. But as of now, things changed... I seldom use my pencil anymore and I haven't tried using charcoal again. I do not know if it is that passion in me that was lost or am I just having difficulty finding a time for it anymore. Or maybe because this pregnancy demands much of my time. Whatever is that temporary detachment that I felt for sketching right now I knew from deep within me that such passion already lives in me and it will never get out of my system. This is just another case of get-back-to-me-soon.

How Early Should You Save for Retirement

For individuals who are new in the corporate world or those still climbing the corporate ladder may think that retirement is still at a far distance. This could be true but the question is, how early should you start planning for your retirement? A common mistake that lead a number of people into financial difficulties is the thought that retirement should only be considered once you are getting the retirement age. In the end you’ll wind up with not enough savings for your days ahead. As early as your first day in the job, you should already start thinking of ways on how to save up for the future. It is very important to secure your life after you stop working and making sure that you’ll have enough funds to pay for your bills and expenses. Keep in mind: you may have stopped working but the bills won’t stop coming. The younger working class should know the concept of retirement planning. Start off by monitoring your expenses and keeping your credit card debt at a minimum. It is also ideal to start talking with an investment banker and discuss the options available for you. Determine the type of investments that you can afford with your salary and then go from there. Those in the middle-age group and already with families to support should re- evaluate their priorities while still making sure that their current obligations are satisfied but at the same time, they’re able to save a little for the future. There is actually no set date on when you should start thinking of retirement. But it pays to be ready for the future. Once you are retired be careful and smart about how you spend your money.
